Maximilian Bradford: Software Developer

A graduate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Max Bradford is an excellent software developer looking to hone his skills in the industry. He is experienced in a variety of tech stacks, as well as project management and communication. Prior to SAIT, he attended the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary majoring in software development before electing to focus on software exclusively. Mr.Bradfords current goal is to develop software for industrial applications, with an interest in the energy and pharmaceutical sectors.

I was the academy captain of the Super Smash Bros team for two seaons, then Varsity Captain for two seaons. During this time I have fostered great friendships and created a supportive enviroment that allowed my team to do their best in competition
James Lang Scholarship (2025)
An award for academic achievement for post-secondary students to encourage them to continue in their program of studies provided by Alberta Student Aid.
Richard Haskayne Scholarship (2020)
This was an award given by the Sinneave Family foundation before being changed to the Directors Scholarship. It is awarded to a deserving Albertan with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) pursuing a post high school education, training or vocation program.
Chevron REACH Scholarship (2020)
The Chevron International REACH (Recognizing Excellence and Achievement) Scholarship Program is sponsored by Chevron for the children of its employees and retirees. The Program was established to recognize and assist outstanding children who plan to pursue post-secondary education.
Rutherford Scholarship (Highest Honors) (2020)
This is a scholarship awarded to graduating students in Alberta to reward students and encourage them to pursue post-secondary. The award is based on grades throughout highschool, with the full amount being available to students who maintained a 80% or higher average throughout.
SHAD Fellow (2018)
Shad is a month-long program for grade 10 & 11s which is hosted by universities across Canada. Future innovators are taught university level STEAM and entrepreneurship content with access to mentors. It is competitive program with limited spots available for each university.

Projects

Tap n Go

A Kotlin based Android Application that uses NFC to allow for warehouse workers for trade based companies to update the warehouse database as items are check out for jobs. Developed in Collaboration with fellow student Daniel Hockridge and Khushi.

Lois Mathema

A calculator application made in Expo with calculator function, a unit converter and a graphic calculator. Responsible for developing the overall structure of the app and for implementing the Graphing Calculator function.

Let Them Cook

Created a web page for people with food allergies or food intolerance's to search for recipes via the Spoonacular API. It was made with the next.js framework and deployed with Vercel.

Sign Language Neural Network

A small experimental project where I took a tutorial on making a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for American Sign Language and gamified it to demonstrate how neural networks can be used.

02/2023-02/2024	7 Chiefs Sportsplex	Cashier	- The food and beverage cashier for the 7 Chiefs Sportsplex Concession is responsible for taking orders and beverages. This involves taking orders and processing payment quickly while also retrieving drink orders for the client at the register, ensuring quick and professional service.
